Purpose of the United Methodist Men

United Methodist Men shall be a creative and supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to daily seek his will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all of their relationships.

  • Engage daily in Bible Study and prayer.

  • Bear witness to Christ's way in daily work and all personal contacts through words and actions.

  • Engage in some definite Christian service.

An Invitation to Community and Congregation

Christ United Methodist Men have allowed God, rather than ourselves to hold both our memory and our hope. As we enter the new millennium we invite the men of the community and congregation to join us in our Men's ministry. The Message and journey is simple and powerful; as men we start our journey to become servant leaders, together we follow a path helping us to become friends, followers and fishermen.

  • As friends we become true brothers in Christ. This means we learn to really trust and respect one another, bearing one another's burdens, and celebrating life's joys together.
  • As followers we are men committed to and obedient in prayer, Bible Study, and worship.
  • As fishermen, we radiate Christ's love to the world -- first to our families, our congregation, our pastor, and the community.

Will you join us as we enter the new millennium?
