Reflections of VBS 2017

I was a volunteer for VBS (one of my favorite weeks of the year) and being with children gave me great joy. The kids were great and the program was different in a way that starts children off in the love of God. As I look back on each day and what they were taught makes me wonder if I'm being all that God wants me to be? In a ME WORLD I'm wondering if we as adults shouldn't have gone to this program. Lessons taught were ones we know but may have gotten lost in our journey through life. We know that God made us, but do we remember that we are the most amazing thing he created and he did this with so much love we can't even comprehend. Stop and think about that! Also he is with us all the time no matter where we are or what we are doing. We were taught that he made each of us for a reason. He has a plan for us. Some of us have journeyed through most of our lives so we know what our purpose is. The children are just starting with God's plan so we hope they will do the best they can with God's plan. Showing kindness, caring and love to all God's children is a no brainer. These lessons refreshed my love for God. I needed it. By the time Friday came around we were exhausted but sad because VBS was over. It was a week of WOW GOD. Great job everyone!!!
