RECENT EVENTS

Christ United Methodist Church celebrated it's 92^nd anniversary this Sunday. During the 10:45 service, we honored Miriam Singley, Gladys Meredith, and Marion Rhine for their many years of service in our church. They also take care of the Archives Room, which has records of the past history of our church. They were each given a Certificate of Recognition and some roses. Thank you ladies for your years of service.

Time to have a Covered Dish for the entire congregation. Time to have a real welcome for the new pastor and his wife, as well as their young son. Sagging tables, overburdened with the best cooking in the the county, ensured that no one left hungry. Logan was the life of the party, moving from table to table, spending time with everybody. It was a fun filled evening of fellowship for in attendance. Now when did they say the next one was?

There was an abundance of food and fellowship at the Annual UMW Covered Dish. This year's event had a special addition to make things even more exciting. After they ate, the ladies had a Baby Shower for the newest addition to the church family, and even his parents were invited to join in on the fun.

Logan received lots of new outfits and shoes, he will be very handsome in his new clothes. They also collected money so Pastor Jim and Kelly could purchase a new high chair.
